The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) invites you to attend our eighth annual Tech Tools for Planning Expo, which will showcase some of the innovative tools that have been deployed and/or are under development in and around our region. Tools highlighted this year include:

• NJTPA’s Equity Resources website and Equity Analysis Tool
• NJDEP’s Potential Lead Exposure Map (PLEM)
• City of Tacoma, Washington’s Equity Index

 
The tools feature innovative uses of GIS, data visualizations, and web development that can be used for more efficient planning. The tools also demonstrate how to better assess the spatial distribution of underserved residents and communities to ensure better decision making in the planning process.
 
This is a free event open to the public. An application will be made for American Institute of Certified Planners – Certification Maintenance (AICP-CM) credits for the event, subject to approval by the APA.
