Session 4 of the Safe Routes Academy, sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Transportation, will be "Developing School Travel Plans to Make Walking & Bicycling Safer."Learn how to take the next step toward making lasting change in your community by completing a School Travel Plan. This session will focus on the ins and outs of creating a School Travel Plan that will help to foster important partnerhips between schools and the community, generate ideas and actions to make walking and bicycling safe and more desirable modes of transportation, and help to make your grant funding applications more competitive so you goals can become a reality.
