Engineering Technician - Morris County
The Morris County Park Commission (MCPC) is seeking experienced staff to join our Engineering Services Department at our headquarters in Morristown, NJ. The individual will be a vital member of the Engineering Department tasked with performing inspections and inventory assessments of major infrastructure, preparing and maintaining infrastructure databases, assisting in the performance of civil engineering work for a variety of public improvements including preparation of documents, research, plans and maps, and assisting in the development of contracts, scope of work, and specifications. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Science or Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, and related work in civil engineering. Requires a minimum of 3-years of experience in related professional experience. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Salary range for this position is $62,000 to $68,000 depending on qualifications.
