Additional Details

The NJTPA's Vibrant Places Program, which provides technical support for community-driven placemaking projects that help lay the groundwork for future place-based and economic development efforts, is accepting applications until Sept. 30 for projects to start later this year.

Eligible applicants include municipal and county governments as well as non-profit, community-based, or non-governmental organizations within the 13-county NJTPA region. Selected projects receive technical assistance from specialists at Rutgers University’s Voorhees Transportation Center.

To apply, submit a Letter of Interest by September 30 that reflects thoughtful, community-centered design and a commitment to enhancing the quality and vibrancy of public spaces. All projects must conclude by June 1.
