The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) will host a webinar on 2026 FIFA World Cup Funding.

More than $100 million will be available for public transportation supporting the World Cup to help ensure transit agencies can meet increased demand. Funding allows for 100 percent Federal share to support planning, capital, and operating expenses supporting matches and other public events held in host cities. Funding will be apportioned by a formula accounting for stadium capacity and number of matches in each of the 11 host cities, ranging from $8.4 million to $10.4 million.
