Overview
The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) is offering free online training sessions providing participants with information about applying for the Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Program. Topics that will be covered in this online training include: Overview of federal aid programs and the SRTS program; detailed review of the Safe Routes to School grant application; grant application process; grant resources, tips and strategies; and Q&A with NJDOT Local Aid staff. The session is designed to assist you with making your grant application stronger to turn your project into a reality.
Additional Details
Pre-application meetings with NJDOT and MPO staff are required and can be scheduled between August 17 and October 15. Meetings have to be requested by October 5.
