Commissioner Frank Sadeghi was sworn to his first three-year term on the Ocean County Board of Commissioners during the Board’s reorganization meeting Jan. 3, 2024. He serves as the Director of the Board in 2026. A successful businessman and a long-time public servant, Director Sadeghi brings years of leadership experience to the Board.

As a member of the Board, Director Sadeghi serves as co-liaison to such key Ocean County Government departments including the County Administrator, as well as the Finance and Purchasing departments to ensure sound financial management, transparent procurement and effective communication with residents. In addition, Director Sadeghi serves as co-liaisons to the Engineering Department, Road Department and Finance Department. As co-liaison of the Departments of Engineering and Roads, Director Sadeghi works closely with staff from both departments to ensure Ocean County expansive network of County roads and bridges are well maintained and safely for pedestrians and the traveling public including residents and visitors.

Director Sadeghi also serves as liaison to the Ocean County Department of Buildings and Grounds which maintains 135 Ocean County Government building across the County including the Ocean County Administration Building, a number of resource centers, and a host of facilities that welcome citizens daily to access programs and services. Director Sadeghi also serves as liaison to Ocean County's award-winning recycling program which provides both environmental and financial benefits as it protects our waterways and also helps save space at the landfill that services Ocean County's municipalities.
