The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council will host virtual Community Visioning Workshops for the Palisades Shared Use Path Study, a project to determine the feasibility of creating a shared use path between the George Washington and Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridges. This workshop is open to the public. Chambers of commerce, businesses, and bike shops are also encouraged to attend.Workshops will provide attendees the opportunity to help determine the path’s route and amenities while learning more about the study’s process and goals. Workshops will also encourage the interested public’s suggestions, feedback, and their experiences along the proposed route, which traverses both Bergen and Rockland counties. In-person workshops will be announced in the spring.
