New applications for the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Grant Program are due by midnight on Aug. 28.The FHWA announced $1.3 billion -- open to state, county and local governments -- in two funding categories of discretionary grants: Community Charging and Alternative Fueling Grants and Charging and Alternative Fuel Corridor Grants.
