Somerset County, in cooperation with the Township of Franklin, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, and the Federal Highway Administration, will be hosting a Public Information Center to inform local residents, officials, businesses and the general public of the status of improvements to the Easton Avenue (CR 527) and DeMott Lane intersection in Franklin Township.The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project’s purpose and need, proposed design, progress to date and the federal process/requirements for construction. This meeting will be held in-person on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM. Members of the public will be able to speak one-on-one with the County’s engineers and consultant representatives anytime between these meeting hours to ask questions and provide comments.
