The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority and Passaic County will host a public information meeting on the Lakeview Avenue (CR 624) Safety Improvements from Crooks Avenue to Market Street project, located in the Cities of Paterson and Clifton. The meeting will be held to discuss the project progress to date, present the proposed improvements, and gather feedback and answer questions from attendees.Proposed improvements include implementation of a road diet and buffered bicycle lanes, replacement of the existing traffic signal system at Crooks Avenue, installation of a new traffic signal system at the Maryland Avenue and I-80 on-ramp intersection, construction of a modern roundabout at the Market Street intersection, enhanced bus stop locations, and construction of curb extensions at various mainline crossing locations.
