Morris County is hosting a public meeting to get feedback on proposed options for the Martin Luther King Avenue Bridge in Morristown.Originally constructed in 1900 and widened in 1928, the Martin Luther King Avenue Bridge is in need of major rehabilitation or replacement. Morris County is conducting this study in conjunction with the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) and the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) to explore alternative for the bridge.
At this meeting the project team will present potential options and the preliminary preferred alternative. The public is invited to attend the meeting to learn about this project and provide feedback. The meeting will be conducted in an open house format.
