Overview
Learn about recommendations to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety on Wanaque Avenue in Pompton Lakes. Recommendations are based on a study of Wanaque Avenue between Ringwood Avenue and Hamburg Turnpike and address input received from residents, business representatives, and municipal and county officials during a Walkable Community Workshop in June.
The effort is part of the NJTPA Complete Streets Technical Assistance Program, provided through collaboration with Sustainable Jersey and the Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center at Rutgers University.
