Monmouth County, in cooperation with the Township of Freehold, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, and the Federal Highway Administration, will be hosting a Public Information Center to inform local residents, officials, businesses and the general public on the status of improvements to County Route 527 (Siloam Road) in Freehold Township. The project is currently in the design phase and will be funded for construction with FHWA's Highway Safety Improvement Program Funds.
The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project’s purpose and need, proposed design, progress to date and the federal process/requirements for construction. Township representatives will also be present at this meeting to provide information and details on improvements that will be advanced under a separate Township-led project. This meeting will be held in-person on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM. Members of the public will be able to speak one-on-one with the County’s engineers and consultant representatives anytime between the these meeting hours to ask questions and provide comments. This meeting is being conducted in conformance with Federal and State regulations and is open to all members of the public.
