Virtual Stakeholder Meeting #2 : December 13th, 2021
The purpose of this meeting was to review the current design for Park Avenue & JFK Boulevard East with additional stakeholders from Hoboken, Weehawken, West New York, Guttenberg, and North Bergen. The design features various safety treatments along the corridor and access/mobility upgrades including traffic signal improvements, two new traffic signals, improved ADA compliant pedestrian crossings (including curb extensions, high visibility crosswalks), bus stop improvements, reduced lane widths with edge lines. The stakeholders meeting on December 13th 2021 included a presentation of the project’s background, progress to date and current design. A Public Information Center will be held in early 2022 which will be open to public and will allow for questions and comments.
