Mar 5

Additional Details

NJ TRANSIT's Transit Friendly Planning Program will host a virtual public meeting to solicit recommendations for potential Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) along the Route 9 bus corridor in Old Bridge and Manalapan Townships. A presentation to learn about the TOD concepts in Manalapan (Franklin Lane) and Old Bridge (Park & Ride, Old Mill Road and Schulmeister Road) will begin at 7 p.m. After the presentation, participants will have a chance to provide feedback in small group breakout rooms.

NJ TRANSIT received funding from the Federal Transit Administration to develop a comprehensive TOD study in Middlesex and Monmouth counties. The study area for this TOD planning project encompasses 21 linear miles of U.S. Route 9 from the NJ TRANSIT Old Bridge Park and Ride in Old Bridge Township (Middlesex County) to the Aldrich Park and Ride in Howell Township (Monmouth County).
