Public Notices

As the metropolitan planning organization for a 13-county region in northern and central New Jersey, the NJTPA actively seeks participation from the public in its regional planning and capital programming activities. In compliance with the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act and federal requirements, the NJTPA posts notices about upcoming public meetings, and current and upcoming formal public comment periods as detailed in our Public Engagement Plan.

Formal Public Comment Periods

The Draft Unified Planning Work Program for FY 2027, which begins July 1, 2026, is available for review at njtpa.org/UPWP. The public is invited to submit comments to njtpa@njtpa.org by February 14, 2026.

The Planning and Economic Development Committee will consider the draft Work Program at its February 17 meeting.
