The study expanded and connected the City of Newark’s bike network and established a vision for a safe and convenient citywide bike network for all riders regardless of ability.
Bike Newark was informed by community engagement, a comprehensive planning process, and data driven needs assessment, to create a plan for a safe, convenient, and continuous bicycle network that serves all Newarkers, and prioritizes the wellbeing of underserved communities and vulnerable road users.
