Plans call for the speed limit on Main Street from MacArthur Avenue to Washington Road to be reduced from 30 mph to 25 mph. Middlesex County has officially approved the change, so the next step is Borough Council approval. An ordinance is scheduled to be introduced at the July 21 meeting.

Travelers rejoice – the days of taking your shoes off at the airport have come to an end. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced the policy change July 8, which has been in effect since 2006.
