Findings from this study are used by the county and four study area municipalities to plan and program operational and system improvements to make evacuation from flood areas safer and more efficient. The plan identifies a series of specific evacuation routes, problems that can be expected during a flood evacuation, and projects and actions that can be taken to reduce those problems.
