Planning & Economic Development Committee
The Planning and Economic Development Committee oversees regional and corridor-based planning activities including: the update of the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) and NJTPA work related to the Regional Plan for Sustainable Development (RPSD). The committee also reviews and approves funding for the annual Unified Planning Work Program, which includes all Central Staff activities; the Study & Development (S&D) Program, which includes future projects in various stages of planning; and the Subregional Transportation Planning and Subregional Studies programs.
